Roatan Windsurfing?

Does anyone know if there is any windsurfing on Roatan (Honduras)? Is
there anything organized for rentals?

We were in Roatan Honduras a few weeks ago and could not find any place that
rented windsurfing equipment, nor did we see anyone windsurfing while we were
there.

I saw a guy windsurfing there a couple years back, at Half Moon Bay. It was
storm-front winds. But I think it was his own gear. I did not think it got
consistently windy enough there to really be a windsurfing destination.

How soon will you be going? There are two facilities that will be
opening within the next 2-3 weeks on Roatan...I am not certain of the
exact locations but I do know windsurfing equipment is on its way
there....and that the beaches/launch sites look amazing. Hopefully
you will be able to hook up while you are there - Good Luck!
