Changing Vacation Resorts...

Leaving for the Wilderness Lodge on 15 days (W00H00!!!) but have been trying
to get into Poly but the "No Vacancy" sign has been lit :( This is our 4th
trip to Disney in 5 years and I just finished College and am making MUCH
better money now and wanted to go all out on this one. I have been calling
Disney like every other day trying to catch perhaps a cancellation but no
luck. What do you think the odds are of walking into the Poly on that day
and getting a reasonable room? Any try a change up like this before? If
so, what was your experience?

Nothing lost by trying right up until the last minute. In October, we were
booked for one night at PO-R and 5 nights at Old Key West. I wait listed the
5 nights at the Beach Club Villas which were unavailable. I called almost
every day for a month.

We checked in to PO-R and went to Epcot. When we returned to the room, at
around 4:00 PM, I called and found they had a last minute cancellation at
the Beach Club and we were in.
