Disney has always been expensive and overpriced. It's nothing new!

The Magic Your Way ticket makes it more affordable for week long stays
than before. I've only been to WDW twice and only in the last couple
years. However, I have been to Disneyland dozens of times, too many to
count. When tickets there were $25 I considered it rather high at the
time as well!! It's all relative.

Good points, hope the DW people notice them and take them to heart. I
know it's slipped down on the list of vacation destinations for me
since the price seems higher and there's nothing new that wows me. --

Why would they want to lower the price when the parks are packed beyond
belief as it is? Sure there are slower months and the prices do come
down considerably. Right now park tickets are about $30/day on a week
long MYW pass. How much cheaper do you want?

Would you prefer prices similar to Six Flags, Sea World or Universal
California parks where if you buy a day you get a year pass? Can you
imagine the lines then? No thanks.

Prices are set to maximize profits and fill the parks and resorts as
much as possible. Theres only so much room.

DLR is 2 parks and has 3 resorts and downtown disney all in walking
distance of each other. I'm not saying its better than WDW. It's a
different experience that I also enjoy every bit as much but for a
different reason. It's very nice to be able to stay and play without
ever having to ride a bus or waste an hour going someplace different.
It's nice to go to downtown Disney to eat and then 2 minutes and I'm
back in one of the parks.

What is it you like about EPCOT? If you had just a 1 day ticket to use
would you go to EPCOT? To me its a great place to go eat and enjoy a
couple rides. But its not worth spending the money for a ticket just to
go to a giant shopping mall with a big food court!

MGM is my favorite park. It has some great rides and more shows than
the other parks. Food is lousy there though. California Adventure is a
fun park with attractions that in order to see the same in WDW you would
have to visit 3 of the 4 WDW parks.

DLR isn't better but neither is WDW. Totally different experiences.
DLR is far more 'Disney' to me.

Sure it's nice, but to charge a high price admission for it? I have
trouble paying admission for a giant shopping mall and food court is my
point. Don't get me wrong, I love going there and walking, shopping and
eating at EPCOT. I just would not pay $67 for a mall with a few rides.
I go there for a few hours every few days of our trip on a hopper.
That was the same complaint people had when California Adventure opened.
Since then they've added quite a few new attractions and shows.
