We stayed at the Pop Century and found it very nice. Many people who
haven't been to a value resort tend to equate them with cheap low end
dumpy motels such as Motel 6. While rather simple they are anything but
a cheap motel. The rooms and grounds are typical Disney and very well
maintained.

The main issue is that most of the rooms (at least at the Pop) are two
double beds. We are two adults and didn't want a double bed so we
requested and got a king bed. There are not very many king bed rooms
but in the off season it was easy to get. I just wish Disney would
allow confirmation of room type at time of booking rather than at check in.

Spring Break in the USA varies with by state, city, school etc. In
general it is anywhere between mid march and early april. The last two
years we have gone in Jan. or Feb. and loved it. Just avoid Martin
Luther King Day and Presidents day holidays.

If you are staying at a Disney property then you can take the free Magic
Express bus from and to the airport. You must make such arrangements
when booking your hotel. They will also bring your luggage to your
hotel room so no need to go to baggage claim. Depending on airline
Disney may handle your luggage on your return trip as well.

ORL is Herndon Airport otherwise known as Orlando Executive Airport. It
is a general aviation airport mostly for small planes, corporate jets
and local commuter flights.

MCO is the commercial airline airport and is the one you'd fly into.
