Heading in October I don't know if you were thinking about checking out Universal's
Halloween celebration, but we did last year and my advice is - don't
bother! It was so crowded we could only do one of the haunted houses
and even that wasn't done very well (myself, daughter and her fiance
are haunted house fanatics). I am not going to go into a lot of
detail, but overall it was an awful experience. The only thing good
any one of us had to say about it was it made us appreciate Disney all
the more.
One bit of advice when you go to the Halloween party - we found the
crowds cleared out after the first parade/fireworks, and it was much
easier to do things. So that day you may want to consider having your
daughter take a nap and then stay up late, so you can do everything
you want without battling the crowds. Of course since we went on
opening night, the crowds were pretty substantial. I don't know if
it's that way all the time. Be sure to bring (or buy) a Halloween
costume for her.
Have a great time. I know you will love it. And the Caribbean Beach is
a wonderful hotel.
