An interesting ride on a city bus is to take the #9 bus downtown from
14th Street and 4th avenue south side of Union Square-- it wends its
way through the East Village, lower East Side, parts of the sprawling
Chinatown, down through the Financiall District and ends up at Battery
Park City. If you want to explore some of the streets on the way,
you can hop off and resume the trip later.
As it may well be cold at Thanksgiving, sightseeing via city buses is
a great way to go.
