Default Montreal and Quebec in August

Hello all: My husband and I are spending some time in Montreal and
Quebec this summer. We'll probably spend the majority of our time in
Montreal and just do a day trip to Quebec.
Any Montreal hotel recommendations? We might like to be near a casino.
I'd also like any advice on "must sees" and good restaurants.
Thank you!
Stephanie Metzger

Quebec city is very compact and user friendly two or three days there is
like a trip to Europe. Montreal is too big for my tastes.

You might find them on St-Denis and surrounding streets, North of Des
Pins Avenue.

Not more than a 15 minutes drive, on Notre-Dame Island but when the
parking is full, you have to park a couple of miles away and take a free
shuttle to the casino. You can also take the Metro to Jean-Drapeau
station, from there, the bus will take you to the casino.

I have eaten at Schwartz's, very good as well. I am not a Montrealer,
so perhaps that it why I enjoy Ben's. Anyway, I will defer to your
better judgement to try and avoid any sort of holy war. ;)
