How long does it take to drive accross Canada?

I'm panning on going on a cross country road trip but I don't know how
long it will take. I live in Ontario and I'll be heading west then
back to Ontario. I probably won't be staying in any one place for too
long. Does anyone know how long this would take? (I'm a reasonbly
fast driver hehe)

About 50 hours non-stop.

You could make it in 4 long-ish days from southern Ontario. Toronto-ish
area to Thunder Bay, then to Regina, Calgary and Vancouver. Maybe 3
days if you have more fortitude.

A useless comment since you cannot drive to most of the country. There
are certainly a large number of countries that take longer to drive
across. Australia, China & Russia are easily far longer drives. If you
can even survive the drives. FFM

Canada should take 3-4 days. More like 3 days from Ontario. Double to
return. FFM

well think about 5 days if you drive 10-12 hrs per day

The OP said they were starting in Ontario and returning there. It was
their idea that this was across Canada not mine. FFM

I wonder how much such a journey would cost in fuel. I did a 1000 mile
journey in the UK over the weekend and it cost be about £100 (~US$150) in
petrol.
