Default Knowledgeable Hawaii travel agent?

Well, we found a reputable, high quality, internet-based cruise company on
the newsgroups a few years ago (namely, Skyscraper Tours), and this is where
we first realized that we don't need to deal with a local agent.

Now, does anyone know a travel agent we could call who knows a lot about
Hawaii? We're talking about land-based travel, not a cruise, so Skyscraper
can't help us this time. We're especially interested in an agent who
really knows Hawaii, what packages are out there, and can seek really good
deals for us.

Thanks.
-J

Do you really need a "package"? Just pick a couple of islands and rent a
car. The best way to see Hawaii is to drive around at your own pace. Spend
lots of time relaxing and soaking up the "Aloha spirit".

I don't know where you live, but if there's a Liberty Travel office near
you, check them out. Liberty Travel has offices in many American cities
so they're convenient to a lot of people. Friends and I booked a trip
for 15 people to Hawaii from Philadelphia a few years ago for a friend's
wedding and we had an awesome time. The woman who handled our
arrangements at Liberty Travel did a fantastic job. I have not returned
to Hawaii since, but several of my friends who were on that trip have
and they also arranged their other trips through Liberty Travel with
great success.
