Default Auto travel to Canada/USA

Anybody here do a lot of driving between the USA and Canada?

I got a question.

I live down near Mexico and there are immigration check points about 50~100
miles from the border. Does these same things exist near the Canda/US
border?

Thanks.

Can't do that anymore. If he "didn't make it through" one check point, his
file is all over all the check points instantly.

sorry, in my previous post, I ignored the "auto" stipulation in your
subject line. The Canadian I referred to got sent back in his rental
car at the NY border and then rode a bus into Michigan.

Not true. If you ever been to the border, you would see it is mostly
hispanics that live there. They even sound like Mexicans. Any Mexican that
knows what they are doing could cross right into the US at the legal
crossing points. I know many who do it often to go visit relatives.

part of the USA-Canada border.

Ken in Winnipeg, Manitoba
