Default Quebec city tour

Will be in Montreal a few days and would like to take a daytrip to Quebec
City. Gray Line has a 12-hr coach trip that looks pretty good.. For a day's
visit, would a train give us more time in the City? Any suggestions will
be appreciated
Regards

I don't know if the train would give you more time in Quebec but the time
you have would be your own. We took the train from Montreal to Quebec City
but spent some days there rather than a daytrip. The train was easy and
Quebec is small enough that it is an easy destination to do on your own. I
always prefer touring on my own rather than using an organized tour.
Montreal and Quebec are wonderful cities to visit. Have a great trip.
