You are wrong about Europe; I go there on a regular basis, and have
never seen, or heard of, any such "environmental zone". In every city
and country I visit, I am a voracious consumer of the local and national
media, and your claims are patently false. They do have "no traffic"
zones, but they are not at all what you claim.

In particular, I can tell you that they don't exist around here, either.
I live in Vancouver and travel widely by car, plane and ferry, where I
see successful efforts to reduce sulphurous and small-particulate
emissions from new-generation diesel engines. That's real -- not
imaginary -- progress.

You are simply a demented fabulist, and should hand over your computer
to your doctor next time you go. Maybe trade it for new medications on
a pound-for-pound basis ....
