The subway is completely underground - no views. The LIRR my have a
few views of the skyline but you will get them when you enter the
Sunnyside Yards about 30 seconds before you dive under the river.
Forget about getting pictures through the dirty windows. I may be off
on this as the LIRR is not my usual beat, so if someone else says the
views are great then take their word for it.
