Default 12 hour stopover in Toronto

Arriving in Toronto (from London) late on a friday night I would have
about 12 hours before my connecting flight to Havana the following
morning. With such a short stopover, will you suggest accommodation
next to the airport, or should I go for the city?

Thanks,
Mike JJ

Hmmm ... Cuba, eh? You could drop in to the US Customs / FBI / Homeland
Security office in Toronto airport, and tell them all about life in
Cuba. They'll keep you talking for hours ....

Person originating this topic says he is arriving from London and
going to Havana so why should the US be concerned?

Must really bother those Yanks working the US Pre-clearance facilities
at Canadian airports looking out on the ramp and seeing all those
aircraft heading for Cuba and the thousands of Canadian boarding them
for a Cuban vacation. Yesterday for example at Halifax there were 4
flights within a couple of hours to Cuba and only 2 to Florida.
