Fort Myers is a much larger airport with more frequent service from almost
anywhere. It's only 30 miles up the interstate from Naples.
The mean age on Marco is around 85. The best thing to do there, other than the
beaches or playing tennis, is to go elsewhere. (I am not joking.)
We were there last month, for the second time (business).
The Snook Inn isn't bad, as much for a sunset view as for the food.
No other place to eat is really worthwhile -- think of it as fuel.
Especially don't get fooled into trying Blue Fusion -- it's a joke, both for the
food and for the atmosphere.
Naples is the place to spend most of your time if you're not a beach person.
Fort Myers is larger, but is a nondescript dump of a city, not worth visiting.
Sanibel Island is attractive, but there's not much there other than beaches,
tennis, and golf either.
Sorry to bear bad news...
