Default Arriving at JFK on 17 Nov- how do we get to Jersey City?

Hi

Three girls are arriving at JFK on 17th November at 7.00pm and we need
to get to the Hyatt Jersey City. I think the PATH station is Exchange.
we have never been to New York before and do not know our way around.
How is the best way to get there?

Thanks

The Path station is at 33 and Sixth Avenue, a long block
from Penn Station. That would be the place to be let off by the taxi.

That I think would be easier than transferring at the Chambers
Street station which is a real pit. I wouldn't send any visitor
there unless they have cleaned it up a lot lately. Truly scary.
