Default South Dakota on Thanksgiving?

I'm thinking of going to SD for 3 days this Thanksgiving. Any advice on
what to do and see? Is it worth going there at all this time of year,
or are most things going to be shut down anyway?
Thanks in advance.

Maybe I am missing something, but since you are already thinking of
visiting South Dakota, don't you have any idea on things you might enjoy
doing while you are there? What prompted you to want to visit South
Dakota over Thanksgiving?

South Dakota is a very big state. Some things will be open,
some will be shut. My answer is as specific as your question.

I'm mostly interested in Mt. Rashmore. I see that will be open. How
about other interesting things in that area. Will have a car of course,
don't mind driving a bit.
