Prop fix I think the super-glue fix is particularly good for fixing dings in
wood props -- not sure about composite. I have had good luck with JB
weld on composite -- buff the area with some sandpaper first to give
good adhesion, let things harden completely (like overnight) then file
and sand to contour. Hundreds of hours later and still holding fine.
I have had BAD luck with clearcoat on composite (used to fine-tune
balance a prop). Looks great for maybe 50 hours, then starts to
peel. Composites don't need to be "sealed". You can polish them
though with polishing compound. |
