 Trade Hipps Reliant for Trike?
I have a Hipps Reliant single place with a 503DCDI, C box, 3:47:1, 70" three
blade powerfin, cabin heat, removable doors, large tundra tires, strobe and
the usual instruments. The engine has about 40 hours on it. I fly this
plane just about every day and I've flown it comfortably in temps in the
negative numbers. This is a good plane for a larger person. I an 6', 250lb
and I get 800FPM in the summer and 1300FPM in the winter.
The plane is in good condition, but does have some patches from hangar rash
here and there. I have all materials including the finish polytone to
re-cover the plane. Those materials would go with the plane. It is
currently painted in Piper Cub colors.
I have the desire to try something different, so I'm thinking of a 2 place
trike. Must be 2 place because I'll need training...Plus, I'd like to be
able to take my nephew up.
If this deal interests anyone, let me know and I'll scare up some photos.
If you're not seriously interested in an even trade, please donąt bother.

Other possible trades....
I would also consider trading up to a two place fixed wing like a
Challenger, Drifter or Flightstar...Although I prefer tandem seating. I
could come up with $2500 cash toward a trade for one of these planes. I
would consider any 2 place UL or experimental except Kolb airplanes. For
the right plane, I might also be able to come up with a few more bucks.
One last thing....You would have to deliver your and pickup mine. I don't
have the time to take a road trip anytime in thee near future.
