Try going down it in those conditions !!!!!!!

Actually, we get relatively little in the way of winters bad
enough to close even Winnats these days. Snake's more likely
to be shut.

Dirtlow Rake. Yes, its just to the south of Castleton. Mostly
quarries these days, I'm afraid. Some of the cave systems have
been destroyed. We are so short-sighted sometimes.
