Round which Island? I might get to crew in /our/ Round the Island Race
later this year.

Yes there are a few slightly smaller and less-crowded to the south-south-
west of you! The Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club has its British Airways
Round the Island Race on Aug 24th; the island in question being Jersey ;)

I failed to find anyone with a spare berth (if that's the right term)
and am now trying to think of something else to do for what is just two
days off a rather big birthday.
