Thanks for the info Alain, I guess we'll be visiting Club Nautico next
spring. As a matter of interest, how did you find the price of marinas from
Gib to Barcelona? Also, any good anchorages to visit?

Graham.

Sorry Graham, I cannot be very helpfull.
Our program was to take the boat to Barcelonna as quick as possible.
So no stops in nice anchorages.
We only had quick stops in Alicante and Ibiza were rates were above 40 Euro.

In comparison, rates in West Spain/Portugal (La Coruna and Cascais), were
under 20 Euro.

I recommend Cascais.
Coming into the Marina at 2 am, the night watchman dealt with the
formalities in 3 mn, in good english, and immediatly showed us were the
showers were (in the same building) very modern and neat. No stress to leave
the visitors catway for the allocated berth, take shower first!

Plus Cascais is a pleasant city.
With frequent train connexions to Lisboa centre (a frequent regular bus
takes you from the Marina gate to the train station).

Alain
