 Finding Nemo
If you've seen the latest Disney Pixar film just released in the UK, (but
out in the early summer in the USA.) you will have noticed some animated
sailing scenes.
Unfortunatley it looks like the Los Angeles based animators don't get to do
much sailing. In one scene a yacht is moored in a marina with it's sails
fully hoisted - so obviously very little wind, then the next yachts are
creaming along in a nice F3-4, with a very unusual sail trim.
The animation underwater is superb - just a pity they haven't got the
sailing so right!
