Damn. Posted mine and this came up.
I posted elsewhere:
"Evening all.
The arrival of Mr Noon and the departure of Mr Harris are covered elsewhere,
but who is now responsible for what?
The DfT site has GH as Sec of State, but still shows Rosie Winterton and Tom
Harris (!). Nothing on 10 Downing Street site either.Auntie says that "Lord
Adonis, who championed city academies, moves from the schools department to
become minister of state at transport".
Thanks
Patrick" | |

Apparently he was involved in plotting the downfall of
Railtrack...

And then there are the cross-benchers, who are even more
independently-minded. And don't forget the select committees, where in
fact most of the "difficult" questions get asked.

To be fair to him, he also knew nothing about education, and it showed.

| | Guest | Tom Harris's replacement is Lord Adonis From his record at Education he seems to be in favour of bringing the
private sector into everything.
From my admittedly limited observations over the last few days,
Britain would seem not to have a Private Sector anymore.
Will this stop him? | |

Funny, my next door neighbour, head teacher of a local comp., said
precisely the opposite. He cannot be worse than Harris.
