cause confusion because of the similarity of their names? Castle Cary
and Castlecary being the sort of thing.

Forgot my favourite: at one time the automated announcements at Woking
used to pronounce "Teignmouth" (correctly pronounced "Timmuth") as
"Tynemouth"! | |

Chiswick and Grove Park. Bear with me. The station in Chiswick (on the
Hounslow Loop) is in a part of Chiswick know as Grove Park and was (at one
time) "Chiswick (Grove Park)". My father actually helped a passenger who
had arrived wanting S.E. London. | |
