Default Sarah Siddons and 38 stock in September?

Hello,

Heard a rumour that Sarah and the 1938 Tubestock are going to be out
to play and to ride behind/on on the Met in Mid-September

Can anyone confirm/deny?

Cheers

I found them under-powered.

Was at a London Transport Museum volunteers reception about a month ago,
where we were told that there were plans afoot to run Sarah and the 38TS
on 14th Sept. There are no firm details yet though.

TC stock would have been a decided advantage when I travelled from Ashford
to Hastings in a train dragged by a 73. We actually had a 4CIG, so the 600
hp of the 73's diesel engine had to drag the weight of the useless traction
motors of the CIG.

I've heard of a trip from Elephant to Stanmore using the '38 stock in
August or September - anyone else heard this?

A trip using Sarah (surely she would run with LUs 4TC set, rather than
with the '38 stock - can they even couple?) is news on me - but sounds
lovely if true.

I don't think the OP implied SS hauling 38 stock.

I assumed - although the wording is not there - that it meant seperate
38 and SS+TC trains.
