Most tests were carried out on south eastern lines due to thats where
the first siX EDL and MLV were allocated, as well as the Ceps. Ceps
were still being delivered at the time, it being easy for CM&EE to
adopt test units not required for traffic.

Yes, the caption suggests that it was somewhere on the SED but that is all.
Four track main line, no other clues. The loco is definitely a JA and the
coaches are Bulleid corridor stock.
