| | Guest | Weekend First I know this topic comes up every so often but I shall ask anyway...
What do you get for your money with Weekend First on NXEC and FGW these
days?
I've not travelled down the east coast since our good friends GNER finally
disappeared and it's been a long while since I went with FGW.
Cheers

Not so - FGW offer soft drinks & biscuits....but you have to collect
them from the buffet at weekends.

I believe that Stagecoach EM only offer tea and coffee, no nibbles.
No idea what if anything is offered on their units (actually - do
their units even have first class?).

Yes, both the Meridians and HSTs have substantial FC sections (too
substantial some would say).

By units I actually meant the sprinters etc; I had lumped HSTs and
meridians together, and was really meaning "former MML stock"

MML didn't have any "sprinters etc", just the Meridians and HSTs I
mentioned.
[A long time ago MML had some 170's, which have been passed around a lot
and are now running on AXC with FC declassified and no catering].
