Using The NREJP fares query for £18 advance on the 10 & 11 Sep the

[hh/mm] 11:22 15:06 3:44 1
[hh/mm] 12:22 16:13 3:51 1

Date [11/09/2008]

Interesting - so why don't they show up on the same dates if you use the
normal journey query, rather than the fares query?

This needs sorting - it wouldn't be the first time one of these discussions
had shown this, the obvious immediate solution is to ring the TOC's ticket
line or visit an office.

Another example available via the 'fares query' is £21.00 at 1222 on 22nd
July, next Tuesday. Couldnt be bothered to look for more.

But its been well established now that there are plenty of Advance fares
available for this route - they just aren't being presented by the
planner...

As we have now discovered, TPEx Advance tickets are available, and they are
split at York. So I had a look in case the OJP is splitting the journey
somewhere else such as Piccadilly, but no, it uses York as well. So it seems
to be an issue with the OJP, especially as someone has posted that the NXEC
planner succesfully finds the fares.

It's no good us discussing it here every few weeks though, it needs ATOC (or
someone) to fix it properly...

You should also know that The Trainline charge booking fees, ticket
collection fees and postage fees. NXEC charge none of these things. NXEC
also give a 10% discount on their own fares.

Your first mistake was using The Trainline!

Philip.
