Default Megatrain on VWC

From 14th July the following Virgin West Coast services will have 40
megatrain seats -
04:58 Manchester Piccadilly - Glasgow Central
08:03 Birmingham New Street - Edinburgh Waverley
11:03 Birmingham New Street - Glasgow Central
21:03 Birmingham New Street - Preston
12:51 Edinburgh Waverley - Birmingham New Street
10:10 Glasgow Central - Birmingham New Street
20:10 Glasgow Central - Manchester Piccadilly

Do you think that there will be more VWC services with Megatrain fares
in future or are these just the worst loaded ones that they run?

Although a return from Birmingham to Edinburgh for £2 looks fun- (I
have just booked for 23/24 July)- lokks like some Scottish track
bashing to be done

Peter

Probably the worst loaded, the Birmingham - Scotland services have
been pretty lightly loaded since they were cut back to start from
Birmingham.& I don't think you will have many Manchester - Glasgow
passengers before 5 in the morning.

The 0458 from Piccadilly is almost always pretty well (50%+) loaded by
the time it becomes the 0741 Lockerbie to Glasgow. Dunno where they
all get on, though.
