| | Guest | Wrexham & Shropshire Sunday Services from July Does anybody know what the plans are for WSMR services when the line
closes between Wolves - Tame Bridge and Stetchford? I'm assuming
they'll go Wolves - New Street - Coventry/Solihull but what about the
stop at Tame Bridge? Are they going to compensate by stopping
elsewhere? Can't see Virgin being too happy with them letting
passengers off at New Street! If they end up going non-stop Wolves -
Banbury i'm pretty buggered for all Sundays until December as i need
the West Midlands stop and can't board at Wolves! Back to Pendos? No
thanks!
Cheers. | |

They'll probably bus you to / from Wolverhampton, and then go 'non-
stop' to Banbury.... | |

THeir timetable will be published shortly & is unlikely to be very
different - they were waiting to check engineering works schedules.

The timetable might not be very different, but it seems the Tame
Bridge stop has simply been omitted on Sunday services from July.
There are no plans for Tame Bridge customers, except for them to use
the horrid pendolinos. What a shame, and a huge disappointment as i
was really enjoying travelling on Sundays for once.

Where d'you get that idea - the timetables post 6th July don't yet
appear on WSMR website (shouldn't they be there by now?) and National
Rail show stops there beyond that date, certainly on 13th July....

Yes the 13th July is the last Sunday until December trains will be
permitted via Tame Bridge Parkway. I did a timetable search on
thetrainline.com, Tame Bridge Parkway is definitely closed because all
LondonMidland services for that route are replaced by buses on
Sundays...so the W&S service can't go there.
