Agreed. Is there such a threat at the moment? It would be just yet
another law that wouldn't be enforced by anyone, so why bother?

I just stick in in the pannier, and wrap the locking cable around
everything, but yes, I see your point. Round here we have bike
lockers at stations which you cen have a key to by simply
joining the Bike Locker User Club. I've never used them,
and I have never seen anyone else use them either!

You won't catch me in Lycra, that's for sure! What;s wrong with
a bit of sweat anyway?

Consider also that more swimmers die from drowning than non-swimmers, who
are more likely to realise their own limitations and stick within them.

(I could add that more people drown in water than on dry land, but that
doesn't mean we should abolish water)
