Not just when they're loaded. The other night I caught an early-evening
train from Cheadle Hulme to Piccadilly. The train wasn't crowded. It's
about 20 minutes from Cheadle Hulme to Piccadilly, and the
guard/conductor didn't come through the train checking tickets.
