    Indeed. It was embarrassing enough that the train service started in

    .... and it's still embarrassing that we don't have a single domestic
    high speed train service (150 mph +) when many other countries have
    whole networks and in some case have had them for in excess of 30
    years.

    It's no wonder everything gets crowded into the ever more crowded
    South East when getting around is so difficult in the UK.
