I was puzzled by the reference to a Chipmunk, didn't think they were
native to our shores.

Chipmunks - aircraft used as basic trainers by the RAF for more years than
you could shake a stick at. Like Kings and Castles nowt but a memory.

Chipmunks, The - a 1960's manufactured recording group using distorted
voices, famed [?] for their attempts to record humourous ditties on vinyl
discs for replay on the phonograph.

Chipmunks - cartoon characters from the USA, alledgedly able to create
merriment and mirth

Chipmunks - small rodent type creatures not indigenous to that area of our
sceptered isle served by the Great Western Railway, and those other areas
served by lesser railway companies.
