Default Broken Window and speed restriction

Heard from a TPX conductor that there was a rail problem in Standedge,
which had already had work done on it on Sunday. Badly affected TPX
servgices too, most around 12pm or so running a good 20-30 mins down, I
boarded the 12.15 Huddersfield - Hull which actually departed
Huddersfield at 12.51.

It was part of a plan to enhance capacity on the entire 'core' Leeds to
Manchester TP route (along with junction alterations at Thornhill,
reinstating the 4th line from there to Heaton Lodge, remodelling Guide
Bridge etc). Unfortunately I think the scheme's been shelved....
