No problem then, no penalty fare due then. What ticket office was it?

I was amongst the first group of RPI's trained in the Penalty Fare Act a
long time ago.
At lot of care was taken then about the quality and traing of 'Authorised
Persons'. Not so now........

where I used to work, BTH, our travel centre had a cash machine
implanted on the outside wall. Securicor used to come every day to
'fill up the machine', at the same time our change came in that same
van.

There was always always at least two of those £500 in £1 coins bags.
So always £1000 in £1 coins. Yeah the 50ps and 20ps went pretty
quickly.

Now days I expect this daily change delivery has been modified to once
a week, with the majority of people paying by plastic or even cheque.

even funnier is when they put the twenties in the tenner tray, cue a
huge queue of people (including staff) taking out tenners.
