Default Would you pay for something that has been free?

The rumour mill seems to suggest that the editorial team which is about
to depart Railways Illustrated (or just has), is about to embark on a
new venture which "could" see Railway Herald become a subscription
based product.

Considering the copious amounts of free stuff on the net, is that a
good move and would you subscribe?

No, I wouldn't subscribe. It's a very good freebie indeed, but I wouldn't
pay for it. It would need to give itself some sort of unique position in
the marketplace for it to be worth paying for -- as it is, it's a sort
of enthusiast-oriented mix of bits of Rail and RI.
