Default FGW 'Forward'

I received my new member's pack for First Great Western's Forward
programme today.
Actually quite good offers, about 4 free weekend car park vouchers.
Some free weekend 1st upgrade vouchers, money off vouchers for the
buffet, along with some free drinks & other offers.
All you need is a season ticket or an open return on FGW or FGWLink.

I've been a member for a year now, i registered simply by having a
saver return ticket. I never knew you had to have an open return! Does
this mean any person who buys an open return from paddington - Reading
is entitled to join?

I mostly use FGWL who also accept some vouchers, but the other
vouchers come in very handy when i make my occasional trek to Penzance
or bristol.

FGW are a very generous company, they really do care for their
passengers! I just wish virgin would do something similar.

Well, thats what the leaflet says anyways. Though I dont know if they
actually check from the ticket number whether it is an Open or Saver.
