Default Best Train Station?

What do you think is the best train station in the United Kingdom?

I would say Newcastle.

Clapham Junction - maybe not the best of environments, or for the best
weather especially this time of year, but I wide selection of trains moving
around.

Agreed! First time I went there it amazed me.

Manchester Picadilly is up there for the sheer amount of money spent
on it. Mind you that applies to Manchester - the city area - as a
whole.

Liverpool St. for the memories and the steel sculpture outside.

I passed through Stoke-on-Trent on a diverted Voyager just after Xmas
and to me it looked a lovely station. A very attractive overall roof,
everything neat, nicely painted and well-kept. A general impression of
prosperity and busy-ness, while retaining all its Victorian features.

Just an impression from a train window, though. Perhaps closer
inspection would result in disappointment.

I'd say Hadfield, 'cos it's handy for my house.

Cheers

I must admit it I'm only ever used it at night when you can't see the
character, only the p**s-heads.
