When did Hull Trains start going to Scotland, I just couldnt stand that
journey in a turbostar either mind u lol

That's another story altogether. The BBC travel report was extremely
terse, and as posted.

At turns out they were running one an hour to Scotland plus one an hour
to Newcastle. And nothing to Leeds. So a pretty drastic cut.

No information, even at KX, about whether they were running (say)
Peterborough to the North in addition - which would allow people to do a
"hop" using WAGN.

Signs at KX at 11pm last night said the tracks would be open by 8pm.
Lots of men in orange jackets who had clearly mislaid their time
machines were still hard at work.

GNER were running Leeds to Doncaster shuttles to connect into the
Newcastle/Scotland trains, and ran a few London - Leeds trains through at
peak times.
