Default freight on the calder valley line

i live near summit tunnel and see and hear freight trains passing through
several times a day. where are they coming from and going to? surely there
isn't any freight reversing in and out of bradford??!!

Might it be going straight on along the L&Y line rather than branching off
to Halifax and Bradford? I presume it would be going via Healey Mills
marshalling yard near Ossett.

I thought the binliners went via Stalybridge and the Standedge tunnel then
followed the route of the Manchester Victoria to Wakefield trains calling at
Healey Mills, not via the Summit tunnel. Or via Chinley and the Hope
Valley...
