In the morning my SN train isn't advertised (on the station) as
stopping at SPB, let alone Wembley!
However on the train, the full stopping pattern, including Wembley, is
announced, there's never a mention of it being pickup only.
I've seen people get off at Wembley, southbound, and get on
northbound.

Reading what you said more closely, actually the Voyagers go a couple
of minutes before fastish LM services in both directions, but not near
Pendolino times.
