Whilst that may be true, I don't think that will count for much. I
don't think any decision will be made in the near future anyway

It won't be true as Aer Lingus have double the number of flights each week
from GLA than they do at EDI. The CAA stats don't tell us anything of the
sort because Ryanair also fly DUB-EDI. So as he "knows for a fact" perhaps
he'll give us a link to prove it? I won't hold my breath.

Yes it is. The "BFS template" sees a mixture of Euro city and sunshine
flights plus of course LHR. GLA wouldn't need to replicate that entirely but
could expect some saught after links to the likes of MXP, FCO + NCE (4/3
weekly frequency) and MUC from the BFS template and they could also cover
AMS (no lo-co) and BCN (no service at all by Xmas). CDG is already covered
in a non-Air France way by EZY so unless they can code share with AF I'd
rather other cities. So 4 more dailies required - how about DUS, FRA, MAD
and one split 4/3 between PRG and BUD? Wouldn't that lot be jolly :-)

LAX or SFO ? | |

I think you will find that they are about to double their daily
flights from EDINBURGH!

Yes, to the same frequency as GLA, from 26 October.
But no, there will be no regular EI A330 in Scotland whichever of our
airports they establish a base at.

I didn't think they were doubling their daily flights from EDI? I read
that they were adding a Sunday service or service's? Taking their DUB-
EDI-DUB to the same frequency of DUB-GLA-DUB or did I read wrongly?

A lot of bargains for Scots wanting to go to Dublin ;-)
And yes, EDI prices are slightly higher, albeit not by much.
