Default New Campervans

Hello

I am looking at the options for buying a campervan, that will fit 2
adults and our 2 children (3yrs and 4 months). Obviously I would like
it to still be OK for older children, and maybe even a third child (if
my wife lets me). I would be happy to have an awning make up the extra
space.

I want some something that is not too big, as I would like to use it
as teh second car, without paying too much in petrol/diesel.A mobile
home would be too big.

I am quite nervous about buying a very old camper as I am not very
mechanical.

Ideally I would like to buy a new one, purpose built campervan as
getting a conversion done, seems a bit or worrying thing to do to a
newish van.

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy these new, or have any tips
where I can find out more for the first time buyer.

Any suggestions welcome, as I am firmly at the planning stage.

Thanks
Paddy

Thanks David & Andy, it is always good to get the view point of
someone who has done these things.

I will have a look at motorcaravans, and keep mulling it over.

Be careful if you buy a motorhome from Ebay, our friend enquired after one
and after some research found out they were from the recent floods in
Tewksbury!!

Why do you feel the medium used to advertise the vehicle bears a
relationship to its condition?
