Who told you that you shouldn't moor at Hyde?
Our permanent mooring is at Hyde (Warble Wharf), and we get quite a few
people mooring opposite. I have never heard of any of them having a problem.
Romiley, OTOH, does have a few more troublesome visitors. It isn't the
badlands by any stretch of the imagination, but Hyde is far better! | |

I tend to think that any boater who can't sleep through passing
express trains, cope with dark places, or appreciate the sheltering
properties of deep cuttings is only a part-timer anyway... £$-
>=.... hairy kiss.....

Wasn't that Mr. Hyde?
(This message from one long time boater who moors where it's quiet,
has earplugs and even blackout curtains for making it dark and quiet
so I can get my 9 hours.) | |
