SatNav POI

Does anyone know of a site where I can download POI for a Gamin nuvi ?

Think it would be very useful to show, nearest shops within walking
distance, the next pubs should we want to eat, even the next marina
for fuel... all sorts of things

GPS Babel is pretty good at doing that.
