Hi,
Have you looked on Virginia Currer Marine website. There is an
ex-Alvechurch boat for sale
which has room for a bit of re-fitting and a price to match.
Also the Alvechurch website has boats for sale.

Ours is an ex Alvechurch 6 berth hire boat at 57ft. It is now a four
berth, but you could do far worse than buy an ex-Alvechurch boat. They
heave 'em out every winter. We found them most helpful, giving us free
mooring for weeks when we had a personal problem just after purchase.
When we had an alternator failure shortly after taking over the boat
they came out and fitted a new one, free. The boat has some of the best
welding I have ever seen on narrowboats. They are now fitting excellent
Isuzu engines too.
