Cleaning out the water tank is my job for this autumn, when I can get
the many screws on the lid to move.

This one was full of brown water but we don't actually drink anything
that goes through the ordinary taps. We have a second filter which is
under the kitchen sink and feeds a separate tap that we use for water
for the kettle and cooking and we change the cartridge in there
regularly.
I'm probably going to run without the filter cartridge in the chamber
and maybe fit an inline solids filter in a more accessible place.
