Default Help - sound insulation


snip
a potentail cheap source - car scrapyard? most car bonnets have a large
piece of soundproofing on them, might be possible to cut up and re use, even
tho its probably not completely flat.

This thread is amazing!

The only silencing on my boat is the silencer.

I love the sound of my engine..... it's all part of the enjoyment of
boating.

I have never had a complaint about the boat being too noisy. I have had
comments such as; 'That's quiet!' and 'That sounds nice' from towpath
users.

Mind you I have had some adverse comments about the colour scheme being
loud..... (two tone purple with lilac trim.... £$->= )
